Fair Opportunity and Requests for Quotes

NASA SEWP VI is a multiple-award Government-Wide Acquisition Contract. Contractors are provided
fair opportunity at the individual order level, as appropriate, in accordance with
FAR 16.505(b).

The ordering agency determines its acquisition strategy, applicable competition requirements,
evaluation approach, and award decision. Documentation supporting an order selection is maintained
by the issuing procurement office.

NASA SEWP provides an online Quote Request Tool to support Government customers in conducting
market research and requesting quotes from eligible SEWP VI Contract Holders.

When responding to a Request for Quote (RFQ) or Market Research Request (MRR), aXseum follows
NASA SEWP VI contract requirements and Contract Holder procedures. Products, services, labor
categories, and other offerings quoted under SEWP VI must be available on the applicable
aXseum SEWP VI contract at the time the quote is submitted.

SEWP VI Ordering Process

  1. Define the Requirement:
The Government customer identifies its ITC/AV requirement and determines the appropriate
SEWP VI Category, NAICS code, business-size criteria, and acquisition approach.
  2. Request Information or Quotes:
The customer may use the NASA SEWP Quote Request Tool to issue a Request for Information (RFI),
Market Research Request (MRR), or Request for Quote (RFQ) to eligible Contract Holders.
  3. aXseum Reviews the Requirement:
aXseum reviews the technical, contractual, schedule, staffing, and pricing requirements and
determines whether the requirement is appropriate for our Category B or Category C contract.
  4. aXseum Submits a Response:
aXseum submits its technical and price response in accordance with NASA SEWP and ordering-agency
    instructions.
  5. Government Evaluation and Award:
The ordering agency evaluates responses and makes its award decision in accordance with applicable
    acquisition requirements.
  6. NASA SEWP Order Processing:
The resulting order is routed through the NASA SEWP Program Management Office for contract,
scope, pricing, and administrative processing. NASA assigns a SEWP Control Number (SCN) before
aXseum begins fulfillment of the order, as required by SEWP procedures.
  7. Performance and Customer Support:
aXseum performs the awarded services and provides ongoing order, technical, delivery,
    program-management, and post-award support.

Installation, Implementation, Warranty, and Technical Support
